About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team in Bundaberg, QLD. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our dentists in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. This is a casual role that offers flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring equipment is sterilised and ready for use

Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and keeping the work area clean and organised

Providing excellent patient care by greeting patients, answering queries, and ensuring a positive experience

Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation

Stocking dental supplies as needed

Performing basic administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering phone calls

What we're looking for

Prior experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar healthcare role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and the dental team

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Passion for providing high-quality patient care and a commitment to continuous learning

Relevant qualifications or certificates in dental assisting or a similar field
