About the role

Davco Winch Systems' is seeking a motivated and eager Light Steelwork Apprentice to join our team in Hope Island, Queensland. This full-time apprenticeship opportunity will allow you to gain hands-on experience and training in light steel and aluminum fabrication, working alongside our experienced tradespeople.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the fabrication, assembly and installation of light steel structures and components

Developing skills in welding, cutting, grinding and other metalworking techniques

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Maintaining a safe and organised work environment

Completing all required apprenticeship training and assessments

What we're looking for

A genuine interest in trades and a desire to learn light steelwork skills

Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail and mechanical aptitude

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Willingness to follow instructions and safety procedures
