THE CRANE TECHNICIAN

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated tradesperson to join our fast-paced workshop.

The positions involve troubleshooting, and undertaking electronic, hydraulic, servicing and mechanical fitting work with the applicant having a sound hydraulic/mechanical, auto electrical knowledge in both 12 & 24 volt.

While on the job training will be provided, this position would suit a trade background such as: Fitter/turner, LV/HD diesel mechanic, etc.

The successful applicant:

Has the proven ability to work independently and as part of a team

Punctual & reliable

Industry experience (preferred but not essential)

Auto Electrical experience (preferred but not essential)

Highly motivated & strong work ethic

Regular overtime

Ability to read an electrical or hydraulic diagram would be advantageous

Attention to detail with determination for quality workmanship

Has own tool kit suitable to the trade - Mandatory requirement

Current car license - Mandatory requirement (Forklift license and/or HR license will be strongly favoured)

About this role.

Knowledge of Vehicle Loading Cranes is preferred but not essential. Passion & drive is a must for this sought after position.
