About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to work as a Café Attendant to operate our on-site café. This is your opportunity to delight our residents and their guests with a delicious cup of coffee and cake or lunch at Samford Grove Village.

This is a part time position working up to 25 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 9am to 2pm.

The perfect opportunity for a local school parent – no more before or after school care.

Work in the café that operates within our beautiful Retirement Village. You will provide excellent food and beverage service, work the till, manage stock and adhere to food safety standards. Within weeks you’ll remember our regular’s coffee orders. You’ll promote a welcoming atmosphere at the village and fill the café with amazing aromas that will be hard to resist.

About you

· Previous experience as a Barista highly desirable

· Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to multitask with coffee making, serving customers and food service.

· Outstanding interpersonal skills, enthusiastic and respectful.

· Reliable, professional and proactive nature.

· Ability to work independent and in a team environment.
