Wellness Centre Technicians/Therapists (1-2 full time positions available and 1-2 part time positions (24 hours per week) in Element's brand new centre in Duncraig.

We are seeking highly motivated and organised Wellness Centre Consultants to join our small but dynamic team. As a Wellness Centre Technician/Therapist, you will play an important role within this state-of-the-art Health Centre and be an important part of the team.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for health and wellness, be holistically-minded, possess excellent communication skills, and the desire to learn more about emerging technologies in the health and wellness sector.

Must be honest, reliable, and dedicated and empathetic and great with people.

Primary Responsibilities

Work closely with the Clinic Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating all equipment/modalities in accordance with all applicable safety standards and regulations such as:

o Hyperbaric Oxygen Chambers

o Red Light Bed

o Infrared Sauna Cocoon

Responsible for the safe delivery of these therapies to the client

Assist in client preparations for treatment.

Reinforce education as it relates to the appropriate therapy (i.e. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for example).

Keep complete and accurate client records as they pertain to treatment documentation.

Performs equipment checks and system maintenance.

Support any appropriate accreditation.

Participate in the safety program.

Utilises data software for documenting any client treatments (Zenoti is our platform).

Ensure every client has signed a waiver prior to treatment being carried out.

Performs cleaning of all chambers/equipment in accordance with infection control procedures.

Be able to recommend appropriate treatments based on client requirements/health issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

There is an element of flexiblity. Ideally two years of experience in a related field (Health, Wellness, Beauty or similar) is preferred and a distinct advantage, however we will consider candidates who have solid proven experience in a customer-facing role.

· Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data collection and documentation.

· A passion for health and wellness, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

· Willingness to learn and engage in 3rd party training (HBOT Technician) for example

Full time: 37.5 hours per week / Shift work (working one weekend in two)
