About the role

Freddy's Auto Care is seeking a skilled and experienced Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic to join our team in Craigieburn, VIC. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of light vehicles for our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

Diagnosing and repairing faults in light vehicles, including cars, vans and light commercial vehicles

Carrying out scheduled maintenance and servicing on light vehicles

Troubleshooting and problem-solving to identify and rectify complex issues

Maintaining detailed records of all work carried out

Ensuring a high standard of workmanship and customer service at all times

Working collaboratively with the wider team to support the smooth running of the workshop

What we're looking for

Qualified Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic with a minimum of 1-3 years' experience or currently completing an apprenticeship.

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and colleagues

A valid driver's licence (not a requirement)
