What’s the role?

We’re on the lookout for a proactive and creative Communications Coordinator to join our Corporate Affairs team at News Corp Australia. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for bringing our internal communications to life—whether that’s writing engaging content, supporting team events, or helping spread the word about our community initiatives.
You’ll work with people across the business, making sure everyone stays informed and connected. From creating fun newsletters and eye-catching intranet posts to organising events that bring the team together, you’ll play a key role in building a positive company culture.

In this role you will:

• Create and deliver engaging content for staff newsletters, intranet posts, and internal announcements.
• Support the planning and delivery of internal events that keep teams connected and engaged.
• Assist with community initiatives and activities in partnership with our Community Ambassador.
• Work closely with different teams across the business to ensure clear, timely communication.
• Track and report on communication activities, offering ideas to improve engagement.
• Be part of a creative, fast-paced team where you can learn and develop your communications skills.

• You’re organised, detail-oriented, and can manage multiple tasks at once.
• You’re a creative thinker who enjoys bringing new ideas to life.
• You’re a team player who’s proactive and ready to learn.
• You’re comfortable with basic design tools like Canva and familiar with Google Workspace.
