About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Scully Plumbing as a Casual Excavator Driver in Brisbane, QLD. As an Excavator Driver, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's projects, utilizing your expertise to efficiently and safely operate heavy machinery on site.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating and maintaining excavators and other heavy machinery on construction sites

Digging, grading, and levelling work areas to prepare for construction activities

Assisting with loading and unloading materials and equipment

Collaborating with construction teams to ensure project timelines and safety standards are met

Performing routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance

Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on the job site

What we're looking for

Proven experience as an Excavator Driver or similar heavy equipment operator, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the construction industry - Digging Drains for new homes.

Valid driver's licence and Medium Vehicle Licence (MR or HC)

Competent in the use of excavators and other construction equipment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Plumber with machine experience preferred.
