Job Description: HR Truck Driver & Vacuum Excavator Operator

Location: Townsville (Garbutt), QLD
Salary: Starting at $35/hour + Living Away from Home Allowance (LAFHA)

The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Truck Driver with the ability to operate a Vacuum Excavator. This physically demanding role involves mostly excavating pits, potholing and shallow trenching using a jet hose and vacuum tube, as well as driving between work sites. You will also need to use an iPad to take photos and complete safety start cards.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in outdoor environments, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.

What We’re Looking For:
While the following skills and certifications are preferred, they are not essential:

HR licence

Experience with using a vaccum excavator

Familiarity with using an iPad and IT systems

First aid/CPR certification

Experience working civil construction

Identify, Locate & Protect Underground Services ticket
