Looking for a role where your clinical skills, leadership, and dedication to trauma-informed care can truly make a difference? At SASS, we’re a passionate team working to build a safer, more respectful Tasmania — and we’re on the lookout for a Coordinator to help guide our Children & Families team.

This is no ordinary clinical role. You’ll manage incoming referrals, client allocations, waitlist management and coordination for the program. You’ll bring clarity and calm to complex situations, while supporting your team to provide high-quality, trauma-informed care.

We know the work can sometimes be challenging — so on top of creating in an impactful role, it’s within a workplace that prioritises connection, supervision, flexibility, and growth. With salary packaging, extra leave, professional development, we’re serious about looking after the people who care for others.

If you’re ready for a role where your leadership, empathy, and clinical expertise will be deeply valued — and where you’ll be surrounded by a team of like-minded professionals doing meaningful work — we’d love to hear from you.

The Sexual Assault Support Service (SASS) is a not-for-profit organisation committed to creating a healthy, safe Tasmania free from sexual violence. Due to an internal promotion, we're now looking for a Coordinator to join our Children & Families Team as we continue to grow and develop our services.

Are a skilled clinician with a knowledge of, and experience in, a broad range of trauma informed therapies,

Have an understanding around factors that increase a child or young person’s vulnerability to safety and risk concerns

Have a degree in counselling, psychology, social work with eligibility for membership of the relevant professional association (APS, AASW or PACFA)

This position will be permanent (subject to ongoing funding), with a minimum of 4 days per week up to full-time (with a combination of Therapeutic Specialist caseload) depending on candidate preferences.
