About The Role:
Bendigo Kangan Institute is searching for a passionate and qualified Carpentry Teacher to join our supportive team of 12 educators. In this role, you will deliver high-quality training and assessment for Certificate II and III in Carpentry, working with a diverse group of students ranging from 15 to 30 years old, including first to third-year apprentices.
Working among highly passionate teachers, you will deliver quality vocational education and training and conduct competency-based assessments in a range of environments. You will have access to world-class testing facilities, workshop spaces and specialised for Building and Construction applications. You will use your experience in the area to support the student learning experience.
We are excited about you because you have:
- A Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent trade qualification).
- A current TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
- Industry experience in carpentry (teaching experience is desirable but not essential).
- A commitment to student success and continuous professional development.
- Strong communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to engage learners of varying ages and backgrounds.
