We are currently recruiting for a Physiotherapist to work in Kingcliff in a residential aged care facility working with older people. My client is open to employing someone on a permanent full-time basis, or on a locum basis and they provide a range of allied health services across the region. You’d join a multidisciplinary team with training and support.

• Full Time hours – part time might also be considered
• Permanent employment salary of $80-90k plus super. $40-60 per hour on a locum basis
• Role available to start ASAP
• Open to locum arrangements for up to 3 months
• Support, training and assistance
• Role based in Kingscliff, NSW – Far North NSW Coast – between the Gold Coast and Byron Bay

About the organisation:

This organisation has a large team of allied health professionals who work in across private practice, community and also in aged care facilities. They have a number of clinics and large contracts to supply allied health services in a range of settings.

Duties:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments under ANACC
• Overseeing and running group exercise sessions and falls prevention classes alongside physiotherapy aides.
• Delivery of Chronic Pain Management Program
• Post fall intervention and documentation
• Implementing and upgrading rehabilitation exercise programs
• Communicating with a greater team of allied health professionals and medical practitioners to coordinate effective courses of treatments
• Delivery of manual handling training competencies

Requirements:

• It is a requirement to be a fully AHPRA Registered Physiotherapist
• It is essential to be based in Australia or have full work rights in Australia
