Your role:
Operate surveillance systems to identify, track and monitor the unknown to keep your ship or submarine safe as an Electronic Warfare Operator. You’ll conduct analysis and identify electronic signals passing through the air to provide advanced warning of potential threats and unknown entities.

Your duties include, but aren’t limited to:
Identify, track and locate nearby ships, aircraft, radars and weapons
Use electronic warfare and intelligence equipment
Manage sensors, anti-ship missile and countermeasures to defend the ship

Submariner:
There is also the option to specialise as a submariner and be a part of the most exclusive and stable workforce in Australia. You’ll keep missions on track by analysing, identifying and monitoring murmurs and emissions from unknown vessels and entities using advanced systems onboard a submarine.
Salary:
Upon completion of your initial military and employment training, you’ll enjoy a salary package starting from $77,451 for surface fleet and $95,476 for submariners.

For this role, you must be over 17 at time of enlistment, an Australian Citizen and have passed Year 10 English and Maths. A pass in Science (Physics component) is desirable.
