About the role
Provide culturally sensitive mental health and social and emotional wellbeing services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people incarcerated at Brisbane Women's Correctional Centre.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Demonstrates competent knowledge and skills to provide social and emotional wellbeing care for clients who have, or are suspected of having, a mental illness, including triage, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge planning and promoting application of evidence-based care.
- Demonstrates the ability to participate in quality, safety or clinical governance activities including the development of policies, procedures and clinical practice and participates in local quality and service improvement activities.
