About the Role

This flexible subcontractor or part-time role is based on the Sunshine Coast, with the potential to grow into something more permanent over time.

You'll work across our Maroochydore clinic, via telehealth, and in the community, supporting clients in the Sunshine Coast, Gympie, and Moreton Bay regions.

We support a broad range of clients through:

NDIS

Medicare (Mental Health Treatment Plans)

DVA

WorkCover QLD

Private Health

Self-funded services

Our clients are diverse — across ages, backgrounds, and needs. While many of the people we support are men, we also work with women and gender-diverse individuals who connect with our approach.

Whether it's teens navigating identity, adults working through trauma, or older men seeking purpose and connection — we bring curiosity, empathy, and authenticity to every session.

What You’ll Be Doing

Providing individual and group therapy using Focussed Psychological Strategies

Creating tailored treatment and safety plans

Writing clear, professional progress notes and reports

Using platforms like Halaxy for client management and telehealth

Participating in regular PD and supervision

Collaborating with our team and external partners

About You

You’re a clinician who leads with empathy, shows up authentically, and believes in the power of real connection. You don’t need to have it all figured out, you just need to care, be open, and want to make a difference.

You might have personal experience with mental health, have supported a mate or family member through tough times, or just understand how valuable it is to be truly heard. That lived experience is part of what makes you great at what you do.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

Accreditation as a Psychologist (AHPRA) or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AASW)

Eligibility to deliver services under Medicare

At least 2 years’ experience in mental health or disability support

Experience working with (or a strong interest in working with) men and boys

The ability to work across clinical, community, home and telehealth settings

To be based on the Sunshine Coast and willing to travel from Gympie to Moreton Bay

Current Blue Card, Yellow Card, Police Check, driver’s licence, and reliable vehicle

Your own laptop and phone (for subcontractors)
