About the Venue:

The Middle Pub is the beating heart of Mullum — offering hearty pub meals, cold beer, gaming, and regular events in a welcoming, community-focused space. You’ll join a wider group that operates multiple venues and businesses across the Northern Rivers.

Your Role:

You’ll support the Venue Manager across day-to-day operations — helping lead a dynamic team and ensuring high standards in service, safety, and guest experience. You’ll also receive hands-on mentoring to prepare you to step up as a General Manager or Licensee.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead FOH operations and support daily service

Oversee bar, bistro, gaming, events, and compliance

Manage stock, rostering, reporting, and team performance

Uphold strong service standards and a welcoming atmosphere

Step in for the Venue Manager when needed

What You’ll Need:

Experience in hospitality leadership (supervisor or higher)

RSA & RCG (NSW)

Great communication, problem-solving and team leadership

A proactive attitude and a love for people and pub culture

Willingness to grow with us long term
