Our client is a leading global FMCG manufacturer, with a portfolio of iconic products. They are looking for a short-term materials planner to support the team.

The Role

As the Materials Planner, you will ensure the availability of raw materials to support production schedules, optimise inventory levels, and collaborate with internal teams to maintain a smooth supply chain flow.

Duties include:

• Monitor and manage material inventory to ensure production continuity.
• Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams for timely deliveries.
• Optimise stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Assist in forecasting material requirements based on production demands.
• Identify and resolve material supply issues proactively.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in material planning within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills to manage inventory efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• A proactive approach with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
