About the opportunity
The role is accredited for RACGP Extended Skills Post and is ideal for GPT 3 and above registrar position.
The role is also suitable for physician training and/or Emergency Training. Those who are interested in physician or Emergency Medicine are strongly encouraged to apply.
The role is well supported by daily consultant supervision and rounding. You will work closely with HITH consultant, Resident Medical Officer and Senior Nurses to provide care for patients in HITH.
There is no afterhours for the role. The department medical consultants provide at least bi-weekly training and education in addition to hospital education and training.
There is opportunity for the role to join other specialty rotations in 2025.
About you:
- Must have valid APHRA medical registration
- Full time or Part Time based at Werribee Mercy Hospital
- Great experience for a general position
- Hospital in the home and ambulatory positions great for doctors interested in general practice
