The Role

A licenced electrician/cabler who thrives in service-based work — think repairs & upgrades and working face-to-face with clients across residential and commercial settings.

You’ll be hands-on from day one, with the support of a tight team and direct access to the business owner. We’re big on trade pride, clear communication, and steady development. There’s a clear path here for the right person.

Role Responsibilities

Service and maintenance: electrical and data upgrades, repairs and maintenance, cable runs, testing, tagging.

Client-facing work: explaining issues, troubleshooting on-site

Working at heights and with EWP (where required)

Keeping tidy and safe worksites, every time

Contributing to job planning, team ideas, and process improvements

Job Safety analysis and test results recording

Mentoring apprentices as required.

Skills & Qualifications

Licenced electrician

Licenced cabler (structured copper endorsements)

Construction White Card

CPR and LVR certification

Working at Heights ticket

Current driver’s licence

EWP ticket (bonus, not essential)

Experience with both domestic and commercial service work

Strong communication skills — you're just as comfortable chatting with a homeowner as with a builder

A Day in the Life (Example)

Start your day with a local service call in Caboolture — a homeowner's lights are tripping, and you sort it with some tidy switchboard upgrades. Then it's off to a commercial site in North Lakes to finish cabling a new fit-out. You chat with the site manager, keep things clean and efficient, and wrap up in time to beat the traffic.

You’re using your skills, keeping it sharp, and ending the day with a sense of pride in what you’ve done. That’s the vibe.
