About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join a high-profile ERP project within the Defence sector, based in Melbourne, Sydney, Queensland, Canberra or Ballarat. This is a contract position offering the chance to work on a mission-critical environment managed service project.

As part of a dynamic SAP Practice, you will:

• Deliver technical solutions for SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Design and manage SAP landscapes and reference architectures.
• Lead HANA solution implementations and collaborate with both local and offshore teams.
• Perform installations, upgrades, configurations, and maintenance across SAP Basis/NetWeaver environments.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure system health and stability.

The Successful Candidate

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience in SAP Basis/NetWeaver across Windows, Linux, Unix, and databases such as Oracle, Sybase, and HANA.
• Strong skills in system refresh, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google, SAP Cloud) is a plus.
• Experience in AMS projects and understanding of ITIL processes.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, self-driven attitude with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Australian Citizenship.
• Active NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance.
• Willingness to work onsite at Defence locations in Canberra or Ballarat.
