We are a Body Inclusive, Trauma Informed and Neurodiversity Affirming company, and offer services across Sydney, Adelaide and Canberra.
Our team of Dietitians specialise in support for food and body image concerns, including eating disorders, feeding and eating differences and nutrition for mental health.
We are a tight-nit team who connect through our shared values. We meet regularly for group supervision, complex case meetings, in-person team training days and social events!
After 7 years of practice we are excited to expand and offer multidisciplinary services via the Glow Group Philosophy.
The Role
Glow Group currently supports clients privately, via Medicare, and as a Registered NDIS Provider.
As our business expands we are looking to engage a compassionate, like-minded OT who has the capacity to support clients in clinic, online and at home (via NDIS home visits across Sydney).
You will be supporting our current NDIS participants, as well as accepting new clients through this new service offering.
Your client base will be mixed, but will likely include Autistic clients, ADHDers, and a range of NDIS participants with intellectual, neurological and psychosocial disabilities. You will also be supporting functional capacity assessments.
Note: this is not feeding specific position, however experience in this area is helpful.
The role is anticipated to start at 1-2 days per week, with the opportunity to build to full-time role for interested parties.
The Role Offers
Opportunity to build a case load based on your interest areas. Glow Group supports both paediatric and adult clients.
Ability to work from home, with capacity for use of Glow Group clinics (Woollahra/Norwest) based on working preferences/client base
A friendly and supportive team environment with administrative support
Opportunity to learn about eating disorders and eating/feeding differences from a specialist team
Weekly group supervision, monthly complex case meetings and access to external clinical supervision with a Senior Neurodiversity Affirming OT
Capacity to build to a full-time permanent, leadership position for those interested
$97-120 per hour based on experience
Essential Criteria
Please note this is a contractor role. This role will also require home-visits in the community.
You will require:
Current ABN
Driver’s License and Own Car for Home Visits
Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Check
Relevant Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
We also ask that you:
Are a Registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
Align with the Glow Group Philosophy
Have a general understanding and alignment Body Inclusive, Weight Neutral Care
Are passionate about Trauma Informed and Neurodiversity Affirming Care
And have significant experience in the NDIS space
