We are looking for a full-time team member to work mainly from our Watergardens Wholesale nursery site (Trinity Beach) with some work from our Watergardens retail nursery site at Smithfield. The successful applicant is also required to drive Watergardens vehicles to deliver plants and pots to customers within the Cairns area.

Must enjoy working outdoors, be reliable and punctual, energetic, motivated and be able to work independently and part of a team for this physically active role.

Duties Include:

- Potting up/propagation of plants

- Lifting, loading and cleaning up plants to sell in our retail nursery

- Delivering plants and pots within local Cairns area

- Weeding and general plant care

- Some warehouse duties (e.g. using forklift; unpacking pots)

Role Requires

- Daily outdoors work including lifting some heavy pots and plants, so physical fitness and strength is required.

- Current Open Queensland Manual Drivers License (essential).

- Forklift License (essential)

Other

$30-$34 per hour depending on experience (Nursery Award).

Full-Time position 38 hours per week (7am-3.30pm Monday to Friday)

Start date negotiable – prefer early July, 2025.
