About the role

Due to one of our experienced crew moving to study full time we are looking for an experienced Barista / Senior Cafe Staff to join our vibrant team at The Cock and Hen' in Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast in QLD. You will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and high-quality barista-made beverages to our patrons. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to contribute to our fun and busy cafe.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and serving a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages

Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers

Maintaining a clean, well-organised and inviting cafe environment

Assisting with general cafe operations

Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting junior staff members as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar busy cafe

Strong barista skills with ability to handle volume at an intense pace at times

Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team

Good organisational and time management capabilities

Flexible and adaptable approach to work schedules and duties
