This national consulting business operates in the areas of hazardous materials, occupational hygiene and contaminated land management.

Requirement:
Due to continual work from returning key clients, an opportunity now exists for a Hazmat Consultant / Licensed Asbestos Assessor (LAA) to join the team in a permanent, full-time role.

The role will be tailored to your level of experience, including:

• HAZMAT and Asbestos inspections/surveys
• Provide asbestos assessment reports and recommendations
• Provide site supervision for asbestos removal projects
• Conduct asbestos monitoring, including fibre count lab work
• Clearance inspections for friable & non-friable asbestos removal projects
• Technical report writing, scope of works development & technical advice.
• * - If desired, this role will also give you exposure to some wider ranging Occupational Hygiene and Contaminated Lands Environmental projects.

You will need to have

• Current Asbestos Assessors License
• Ideally NATA asbestos fibre counting experience and solid laboratory skills
• 2+ years' experience carrying out Hazmat/Asbestos assessment, monitoring and reporting.
• Current Australian Driver's License
• Able to travel to project sites as required
• Sound written and oral communication skills with proven experience producing technical reports.
• Ability to work well independently when required as well in a team environment.
• Computer literate - Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting.
