Position Overview:

As our Casual Chef, you will be required to execute food preparation and service during busy periods, ensuring our menu is delivered with speed, consistency, and creativity. You will be expected to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items in line with recipe and presentation standards

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area

Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation and ordering

Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations

Collaborate with bar and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

Assist with menu development and daily specials

Requirements:

Proven experience as a chef or cook in a similar fast-paced venue

Knowledge of modern pub/bar food and kitchen operations

Flexibility to work Thursday through Sunday (evening and day shifts)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Passion for quality food and a great attitude
