HenderCare is seeking a Home and Garden Maintenance worker to join our team to support our Aged Care & Disability clients in the community with their homes throughout the Southeast Suburbs, with the ideal candidate comfortable driving around shires of Cardinia and Mornington Peninsula, and the cities of Casey, Frankston, Greater Dandenong, Kingston, Knox and Monash.

About The Role

As a casual Home and Garden Maintenance Worker, you will assist service recipients in keeping their homes safe and habitable by minimising environmental health and safety hazards.

Services include gutter cleaning, window cleaning, and fan cleaning, replacing light bulbs, installing batteries, replacing fixed shower heads with handheld systems, installing key safes, installing grab rails in toilet and shower recesses, minor home maintenance, pruning, lawn mowing, and weeding.

About You

You must:

Previous homecare/gardening experience is highly regarded

Have a reliable smartphone compatible with AlayaCare App for roster access (iOS 15+ or Android 9+)

Own gardening and maintenance equipment and vehicle

Able to drive to locations and nearby areas in the description above

Have a UTE/Trailer to transport the equipment and tools

Have a current National Police Check

Have a current Working With Children Check (Employee Type)

Have an unrestricted Australian Driver's License

Have a passion and understanding for providing support to the elderly and people with a disability
