We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and highly regarded accounting firm based in St Kilda. Known for their professional, conservative culture and long-standing client relationships, the firm is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join their team. This role reports to the Partner.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a seasoned audit professional looking to take ownership of a quality client portfolio and contribute to the continued success of a respected practice. You will lead engagements, mentor junior staff, and provide valuable insights to a well-established client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute audit engagements from planning to completion
• Lead audit teams and review work to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Maintain and grow strong client relationships
• Ensure compliance with Australian Auditing Standards and regulatory requirements
• Train and support junior team members
• Contribute to internal process improvements

About You

• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in audit within public practice
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards and financial reporting
• Experience managing teams and audit engagements
• Professional, detail-oriented, and highly organised
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
