THE ROLE

The Y is seeking passionate and keen Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Qualified and Unqualified Educators to join us across our Regional South Australian sites, including:
YMCA Airdale OSHC- Port Pirie
YMCA St Marks OSHC- Port Pirie
YMCA St Joseph's OSHC- Port Lincoln
YMCA Whyalla Town OSHC- Whyalla
YMCA St Anthonys OSHC- Mount Gambier
YMCA Reidy Park OSHC- Mount Gambier
YMCA McDonald Park OSHC- Mount Gambier
We have opportunities available for those who are passionate about providing quality care and education to children.
As an OSHC Qualified/Unqualified Educator, you will be responsible for delivering challenging and stimulating programs and activities, fostering a supportive and fun environment, and helping children to develop their social, emotional, and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with the OSHC Service Director, and work with a passionate team.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:
ACECQA approved qualification (Qualified Educators only)
Certificate of completion for “Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care” Training
HLTAID009 CPR
HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in Education and Care
Food Handling Training
SMART Training
Knowledge of responsibilities under Child Safe Environments compliance
Sounds knowledge of OSHC Quality Assurance and recognised School Age Care Framework
