The Opportunity

We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our busy Intensive Care Unit at North Shore Private Hospital. The ICU provides specialised care for patients who require constant monitoring, intensive nursing care and advanced respiratory, cardiac and renal support therapies. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skill set with experience in Critical Care. Possessing excellent time management and well-developed clinical problem-solving skills will be key to your success in this role.

You will also bring;

• Current registration with AHPRA
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a Critical Care environment
• Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment and autonomously as required
• Advanced communication and customer service skills
• Prior experience in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (desirable)
• ILS/ALS/ CALS certification (desirable)
• Post graduate certificate or similar in critical care (desirable)

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $72,420.40- $101,704.72]

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
