This business already has a strong HSE culture. You will coach, develop, and consult with Directors, senior managers, and delivery teams. You’ll run monthly initiatives, workshops, and training sessions and provide practical guidance where it counts.

We’ve worked with this company for years. They’re highly respected and at the top of their game. Their projects average between $15m and $30m. The nature of projects is evolving to include more complexity, basements, sloping blocks, rooftop pools, high-end finishes, and award-winning facades.

The salary range is between $180k and $220k. You’ll mainly be based in Melbourne’s inner southeast, with the flexibility to work across multiple sites. The head office is near Malvern.

The business style is open, professional, and consultative. They involve their clients early (ECI) on every project, and their top-down communication approach is part of their DNA. You’ll be expected to mirror this approach and contribute to developing internal HSE processes.

This is not a support role. You’ll report directly to the Directors, sit at the same level as Construction Managers, and attend monthly management meetings, where you’ll identify risks and roll out new initiatives.

You'll be out in the field leading safety, communicating with site teams, and developing the safety environment for an emerging business. Experience as a Safety Manager or Advisor within commercial construction, multi-residential or apartment complexes is highly sought after, as is a Tertiary or Diploma-level qualification in HSE or a related field.
