Our client, a diverse Australian manufacturer of electrical wiring products and copper tube products, serving industries such as 4WD and RV, HVAC and medical, are currently seeking a skilled Fitter to join their team.

You’ll be part of our maintenance team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our machinery. Our diverse capabilities include:

Cable extrusion

Injection moulding

Copper tube drawing and bending

Manufacturing electrical wiring looms

Medical product production in a clean-room using in-house designed machines

Your duties will include, but not limited to:

Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on a variety of machines

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime

Design and build jigs, tooling and fixtures using production processes

Collaborate with production teams to enhance efficiency

Propose and implement machine and process improvements

To be successful in this role you will be:

A trade-qualified Fitter with at least 5 years’ experience

Experienced in a manufacturing environment

Pneumatic experienced

Skilled in fault-finding automated machinery

Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance skills preferred

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance skills are preferred, but not essential to apply for this role.
