About the Role
As our Lead Receptionist, you’ll be the friendly face that patients see first and the calm, capable coordinator behind our smooth front desk operations. You’ll work closely with our Practice Manager and clinical team to ensure a high level of patient care, manage day-to-day front office duties, and support a small team of reception staff.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients with warmth and professionalism

Manage bookings, recalls, and appointment scheduling efficiently

Handling patient inquiries and providing excellent customer service

Process payments, claims (HiCaps), and treatment plans

Provide support and training to junior reception staff

Coordinate daily operations and liaise with PM and clinical team

Ensure the reception area runs smoothly and is always well-presented

Work efficiently under pressure and manage competing priorities

About You

Previous experience in a customer service facing role is essential

Confident in leadership and supporting a team

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong organisation and time management abilities

A proactive, can-do attitude and commitment to great patient care

Strong multitasking skills with the ability to stay composed in a busy environment
