The Opportunity

We are seeking Scrub Scout Registered Nurses to join our 7 Operating Theatres at Strathfield Private Hospital. You will be performing Scrub Scout duties for various procedure types including Arthroscopic Surgery, Laparoscopy, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthopaedics, ENT Surgery, Hysterectomy, Plastic Surgery, Urological Surgery and General Surgery.

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

Skills and Experience

• Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum two (2) years Scrub Scout experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a supportive service.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong customer service focus
• Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient.
• Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.
• Ability to work a rotating roster

Remuneration

On offer is hourly base salary of $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $72,420.40- $101,704.72]
