Are you a passionate fundraiser or grant writer ready to make a real impact in regional Australia? St Andrew’s Community Aged Care in Ballina is creating a new role for a Grants and Philanthropy Officer – and we’re looking for someone who wants more than just a job.

This is your opportunity to build something meaningful. You’ll work closely with our CEO and leadership team to identify funding opportunities, develop high-quality submissions, and build relationships that directly support older Australians in our care.

What you’ll be doing:

Research and identify grants and philanthropic opportunities

Prepare compelling applications and reports

Partner with consultants on major grant submissions (e.g. capital, workforce, aged care reform)

Build and maintain donor engagement strategies, bequests, and fundraising campaigns

Support internal teams to develop projects aligned with funding opportunities

What we’re looking for:

Experience in grants, fundraising or philanthropy (3+ years)

Strong writing and communication skills

Strategic mindset and the confidence to drive initiatives

Experience working with consultants or external providers

Passion for aged care, health or social impact (desired but not essential)

Qualifications and Checks:

Tertiary qualification in communications, business, fundraising or similar

FIA membership or grant writing training is a bonus

National Police Check required

Driver's licence (some local travel may be required)
