This role reports directly to the Senior Regulatory Reporting Manager, giving you exposure to senior leadership and the chance to contribute to strategic regulatory initiatives.

About the role:

• Prepare and lodge accurate and timely regulatory reports in accordance with APRA, and other standards.
• Interpret and apply evolving regulatory requirements, ensuring internal processes and reporting remain compliant.
• Perform variance analysis and reconciliations to validate data integrity across regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and Treasury teams to gather and validate data inputs for reporting.
• Support the implementation of regulatory changes, including system updates and process enhancements.
• Assist in the preparation of responses to regulatory queries and audits.
• Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of reporting processes and controls.

About you:

• CA or CPA qualified with 3-5 years of experience in regulatory reporting or financial control within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
• Strong understanding of APRA reporting standards and frameworks.
• Experience with regulatory reporting tools and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
