About Us:

Our practice in the beautiful Burleigh Heads, is anything but ordinary. We are a dynamic team of mental health professionals who believe in challenging the conventional and embracing innovative, holistic approaches to therapy. Our mission is simple: to enhance the wellbeing of men across the lifespan by providing support that goes beyond traditional talk therapy.

We believe that mental health support should be as unique as the individuals we support. That’s why we foster a culture of creativity, openness, and peer support, where new ideas are not only welcomed but actively encouraged. With a clinic space designed to inspire and an energizing, collaborative environment, we’re redefining what it means to support men’s mental health.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a like-minded, innovative psychologist who is eager to work outside the box and make a meaningful difference in the lives of men of all ages. This is an exciting opportunity to step away from traditional talk therapy methods and incorporate dynamic interventions to promote mental wellbeing. We want a thought leader who can think outside the box, build creative solutions, and foster long-term, transformative change for men across the lifespan, from school aged children and young men navigating adolescence, to older men tackling life transitions. You’ll have the freedom to develop new programs, create resources, and share your expertise with a wider audience to help even more men improve their mental wellbeing.

In this role, you’ll have access to a unique breakout space—a flexible, creative environment where you can use dynamic therapeutic tools that incorporate movement and experiential approaches. You’ll be working alongside a close-knit, clinically aligned team that enjoys good banter and a strong sense of camaraderie, all while working towards the shared goal of improving men’s mental health in meaningful ways.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Men Across the Lifespan: Provide evidence-based and individually tailored psychological support to male clients of all ages, addressing a range of concerns including mental health, identity, relationships, and life transitions.

Dynamic Therapeutic Interventions: Develop and implement creative interventions that go beyond traditional talk therapy by utilising our breakout space. From movement therapy and experiential techniques to mindfulness and group interventions, you’ll be encouraged to think outside the box and find what works best for each client.

Develop and Lead Programs: Take the lead in designing and running therapeutic programs aimed at reaching a larger community of men. This could involve group sessions, workshops, or online resources to expand our reach and impact.

Collaborate with a Supportive Team: Work within a team that’s clinically and personally aligned. Share ideas, insights, and strategies with colleagues who are passionate about the work we do, while contributing to a positive and supportive team culture.

Personal and Professional Growth: Engage in ongoing training and development, while being encouraged to bring your ideas to life. Whether it’s creating new treatment approaches or building community initiatives, you’ll have the space to grow and develop in your career.

Values-Based Practice: Be part of a clinic that lives by its values of integrity, authenticity, and commitment to making a difference. Everything we do is based on the belief that the work we do matters and has the power to transform lives.

What We’re Looking For:

A qualified psychologist with registration with AHPRA and a strong passion for supporting men’s mental health across different life stages.

An innovative mindset and a willingness to experiment with dynamic, creative interventions that push beyond traditional therapy models.

A creative, solutions-focused mindset with a desire to think outside the box.

Experience working with men across various life stages, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges men face in areas like identity, relationships, and career.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse group of clients.

The ability to work independently while also thriving in a supportive, team-based environment.

A sense of humour, positive attitude, and the ability to contribute to a fun, collaborative work culture.

A commitment to personal growth and continuous professional development.

Why Join Us?

Supportive, Aligned Team: Our team is clinically strong and personally connected, offering a work environment where support, banter, and mutual growth are part of the package.

Innovative, Dynamic Environment: With access to a breakout space, you’ll be able to create and implement unique therapeutic interventions that better engage and meet the needs of your clients.

Meaningful Impact: Make a lasting difference in the lives of men. Your work will help challenge the stigma around mental health and offer men the support they need to thrive.

Opportunities for Growth: Beyond client work, there are opportunities to develop programs, workshops, and resources that can reach more clients and contribute to the community.

Work-Life Balance: We believe in a balanced approach to work and life, offering flexible hours and an encouraging atmosphere where you can grow both personally and professionally.

If you’re passionate about supporting men’s mental health and are looking for a role where you can innovate, collaborate, and make a true impact, we’d love to hear from you on the following details:
