Accounting Officer – Daily Banking
Temporary full-time role

We currently have an opportunity for an Accounting Officer to join our Finance team on a temporary full-time basis.
In the role of Accounting Officer – Daily Banking you will perform the daily banking reconciliation, process, and reconcile daily receipting files. You will also act as the principal source of advice and primary contact for Council staff and external parties relating to bank account transactions.
What we offer...
- Temporary full-time position, 35 hours per week until 14 November 2025
- Weekly salary from $1,487.56 to $1,640.03 (salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
- Plus 11.5 % superannuation.
What you'll need to be successful in the role...
- Either a Diploma of Accounting or Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent
- Professional experience in a similar finance position
- Experience completing financial reconciliations and maintaining bank reconciliations
- Experience in stocktaking procedures
- The ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines
- Proven data entry/spreadsheet skills.
