About this opportunity:

The team you will join contributes to maintaining and preserving Mackay Regional Council's natural areas by undertaking basic habitat restoration, vegetation management and general maintenance tasks.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• General Construction Induction Training.
• QLD "C" Class Drivers Licence or interstate equivalent.
• Operate and maintain chainsaws - Level 1.
• ACDC Commercial Operators Licence ACDC.
• Chemical Accreditation (AQF3).
• Relevant experience in weed control, including the use of herbicides and pesticides, and vegetation restoration.

• Base annual salary of $ 61,444- $62,518 + allowances as applicable (level offered will be dependent on successful candidates' qualification and experience)
