About the Role:
As a casual Lifestyle Officer, you will drive the engagement and participation of residents into a range of social, recreational and cultural activities, as well as mental health and wellbeing programs that empower our resident’s choices and independence. In planning and organizing all recreational activity programs, you will ensure individual residents’ needs, values, spiritual and cultural preferences are taken into account.

Wyee is a picturesque town in the Lake Macquarie region of New South Wales, surrounded by lakes, close to beaches and near the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway. Bethshan Gardens consists of 137 beds.

About You:
You have completed Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle and experience working with people with Dementia
You hold a current NSW/ACT Drivers Licence and will be able to take clients on outings
Senior First Aid Certificate is essential
You have previous experience in caring for the elderly within an Aged or Community Care setting
You have highly developed organisation and time management skills
You have an understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
