What you'll be doing
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced midwifery leader to join our team as the Manager of Maternity Inpatient Services at Coffs Harbour Health Campus. This pivotal leadership position is responsible for the strategic and operational management of our Postnatal and Maternity Ward, Birthing Unit, and Special Care Nursery.
In this role, you will provide visionary leadership and expert clinical oversight to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and culturally responsive maternity care. You will lead a committed team of midwives and nurses, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. As the service manager, you will be instrumental in aligning clinical practice with current evidence, professional standards, and the values and policies of the Mid North Coast Local Health District.

Are you a Registered Midwife with current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and ready to lead with purpose and impact? We’re seeking a dynamic, experienced leader with high-level clinical and operational management skills who can effectively coordinate service activities across a busy maternity service. You will bring proven expertise in managing human, physical, and financial resources within budget to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and efficient care. Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) covers an area of 11,335 square kilometres extending from Port Macquarie Hastings Local Government Area in the south to Coffs Harbour Local Government Area in the north.
