Workfast is looking for multiple HR Drivers for a valued client based in Lansdale, WA, paying $41.40 Per Hour + Penalties.

Our client is a wholly owned Western Australian family company, established in 1985 with the goal of providing industry with the best sheet metal product and service possible. More than thirty years on, the company is still in family hands and has expanded to a team of over 160 people.

Always dedicated to delivering the finest results, our client manufactures a wide range of their products using COLORBOND® materials. This amazing, versatile and attractive product is ideal for the manufacture of a variety of metal solutions including fencing, roof trusses, specialised trailers and roofing sheets. Our client manufacture and supply the product in three profiles of roofing. These are Corrugated, Comclad® and Comrib 50.

• Monday - Friday, 06.00am - 2.00pm
• Overtime Available
• Immediate Start
• Temporary to Permanent Opportunity - required to switch over to our client after 3 months

What you need:

• Manual HR Driver's License (or above)
• HIAB Experience *Desirable not essential
• Previous experience as a HR Driver and associated tasks below
• Any other tickets/licenses helpful

What you will be doing:

• Operating HR-licensed vehicles for metro multi-drop deliveries across Perth (e.g., SOR to NOR)
• Conducting pre-start inspections and ensuring loads are secure (re-strapping if necessary)
• Transporting long roofing loads up to 10m in length, including roof packs, gutters, downpipes, flashings, and other accessories
• Delivering fabricated products from our client's Custom Fab Division, such as security items, street furniture, and patio trusses
• Collecting route sheets and job details from the Transport Supervisor before starting daily runs
• Managing occasional country runs to areas like Geraldton, Albany, and Busselton, starting as early as 3am
• Navigating delivery challenges such as tight access roads and on-site product issues
• Providing professional and courteous service to clients and builders on site
• Reporting any issues or damage to products during loading/unloading or transit
