Cable Smith Electrical Services is on the hunt for a switched-on apprentice with experience to join our growing team.

We’re not your average sparkies – we deliver high-quality solar installs, full home renovations, insurance electrical work and everything in between. This isn’t a “grab the broom” apprenticeship – we’re looking for someone ready to hit the ground running.

🔎 What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 6 months of on-the-job solar experience (non-negotiable)

Drivers licence and reliable transport

Strong work ethic, reliability and a great attitude

Someone who wants a long-term career in the trade – not just a job

Able to work well in a team and take direction when needed

🛠 What You’ll Be Doing:

Working on high-end home renovations and detailed rewires

Solar and battery installs (we take pride in our clean, code-compliant work)

Insurance jobs including fault finding, repairs, and make-safes

Learning from experienced A-Grade electricians who want to see you succeed

Getting real experience across all areas of the trade – not just one niche
