About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Landscape Trade Assistant to join a high-performing team for a 6-month full-time contract. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in landscaping or construction who is looking to build a long-term career in the trade.

You'll be working on a range of residential landscaping projects across the Queensland Coast, assisting with both hard and soft landscape construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with hard and soft landscaping tasks on-site
• Operate bobcats and excavators (must hold valid operating tickets)
• Perform site preparation, soil works, turf laying, paving, and retaining walls
• Use hand and power tools for a variety of landscape construction tasks
• General labour duties and site clean-up
• Follow all WHS protocols and safety guidelines

Key Requirements

• Retaining walls (block, concrete sleeper, sandstone)
• Fencing (timber, Colorbond, aluminium)
• Decking (timber and composite)

• Experience assisting with landscaping and construction tasks
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the landscaping or construction industry
• Valid tickets to operate bobcats and excavators
• QLD Construction White Card
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence
• Physically fit and capable of manual outdoor work
