Mechanical Fitter/Machinist & Trade Assistant - Contract Roles

Banyo | Established Engineering & Hydraulic Company

$40-$60/hour (including casual loading, based on experience), with an immediate start and plenty of overtime available-50+ hours per week, Monday to Friday (10-hour days) plus up to 6 hours on Saturdays.

An established engineering and hydraulics company in Banyo is seeking:

• 1 x Mechanical Qualified Fitter/Machinist (7+ years of experience)
• 1 x Mechanical Trade Assistant (2+ years of relevant experience)

Mechanical Fitter/Machinist - Requirements

• Relevant trade qualification with 7+ years of experience
• Construction Induction White
• Blue Card (desirable)
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to adapt on the job
• Excellent communication and ability to work both independently and in a team
• Experience with shutdown work (desirable)
• A strong commitment to safety

Mechanical Trade Assistant - Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant mechanical TA experience
• Construction Induction White
• Blue Card (desirable)
• Good mechanical aptitude and hands-on capability
• Willingness to assist trades and learn on the job
• Reliable, safety-focused, and a team player
