We are seeking a qualified Butcher for an immediate start to join our team at Kilmarnock Business Ventures Pty Ltd in Wagga Wagga, NSW. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring our customers receive high-quality meat products and excellent customer service.

What you'll be doing

Prepare, cut, and package a variety of meat products according to customer orders and preferences

Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection and offering advice on preparation and cooking

Ensure all work areas, equipment, and tools are kept clean, well-maintained, and adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations

Participate in inventory management and assist with ordering of supplies to maintain adequate stock levels

Share your expert knowledge by training and mentoring junior butchers as required

What we're looking for

Formal butchery qualifications

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide expert advice on meat selection and preparation

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards

Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively as part of a team

Excellent time management and organisational skills
