Activity Coordinator / Employment Skills Mentor (Full Time)

What’s the job all about?

At CVGT Employment, we are looking for candidates who excel in the following;

• Develop Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with external providers, including RTO's, neighbourhood houses, housing support, physical and mental health intervention services and other not-for-profit organisations.
• Craft Pathways for Employment: Source suitable vocational and non-vocational activities and interventions to suit the needs of our clients and local employers including the development of Work for the Dole activities.
• Workshop Guru: Deliver client workshops in group settings, focussing on topics essential in progressing participants towards employment.
• Motivate and Mentor: Motivate and mentor participants in workshops to encourage participation and positive outcomes.
• Dream Team: Work closely with Employment Consultants to identify suitable participants for workshop referrals, as well as communicate upcoming workshop schedules.

Industry experience is not necessary as all training is provided however applicants should possess excellent time management skills, intermediate IT skills and the ability to engage and empathise with a diverse range of people.
