Your Role and Impact

As a Back-end Software Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient systems that support our front-end platforms and third-party integrations. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of our ticketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain robust back-end systems and APIs.

Collaborate to deliver integrated solutions.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.

Ensure code quality through unit testing and adherence to best practices.

Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation.

Stay current with emerging technologies and security standards.

Support internal teams and customers with technical insights and solutions.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in C#, ASP.Net 4.5+, MVC, Forms, and Entity Framework

Strong experience with SQL Server 2012+ and REST/Web API

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field

Experience with unit testing and version control systems (SVN/Git)

Desirable Skills

Experience with Azure or AWS, CI/CD, and Twitter Bootstrap

Front-end knowledge: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery

Understanding of IIS, responsive web development, and legacy coding.

Working Conditions

Standard hours: 9am–6pm, Monday to Friday

Occasional after-hours work may be required (time-in-lieu provided)
