Mechanical Fitters – Nightshift

I'm currently recruiting for experienced Mechanical Fitters for a number of clients on nightshift. This is a great opportunity for qualified fitters looking for stable, ongoing work in a busy and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical assembly, maintenance, and repair of equipment
• Interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
• Preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Working to site safety and quality standards

Shift Information:

• Typical Hours: 10pm – 6am (may vary slightly)
• Roster: Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday
• Location: Various sites in Melbourne
• Overtime: Available during busy periods

What We’re Looking For:

• Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting)
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or heavy engineering environments
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently on nightshift
• Strong commitment to safety procedures

Preferred but not essential:

• Forklift, confined space, or working at heights tickets
