About the role

Chapter 1 Early Learning is seeking passionate and experienced Child Care Educators to join our expanding vibrant team in Miranda, NSW. As a full-time Child Care Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to the children in our centre. We have brand new rooms opening soon and are recruiting to join our team now in preparation for the growth

What you'll be doing

Implementing engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of children

Ensuring a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment for all children in your care

Observing and documenting children's progress and development

Collaborating with families to support each child's individual needs and goals

Maintaining compliance with all childcare regulations and centre policies

Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education, with a minimum of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

Demonstrated experience working as a Child Care Educator in a long day care or outside school hours care setting

Strong understanding of child development and the ability to create engaging learning experiences

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families and the broader team

A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the highest quality care

A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate
