Plant & Truck Operators - Local Government | Multiple Roles Available

Are you ready to put your operating and labouring skills to work with the local government? Mackay Regional Council is currently seeking experienced operators to support various road and drainage construction crews across the region.

• $34 - $37 per hour (based on tickets and experience)
• Monday to Friday | 6:00am - 3:30pm
• 9-day fortnight - enjoy long weekends every second week!
• Paget Depot - work close to home

A Day in the Life

Duties will vary based on role and experience, but may include:

• Operating rollers, loaders, small plant or HR trucks
• Carrying out labouring work for roads, drainage and civil infrastructure
• Assisting with concrete, pipelaying, bitumen or vegetation works
• Following safety protocols and supporting traffic management

The Ideal Candidate

• MR Licence or higher
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Experience in roads, drainage, or any civil construction environment
• Tickets for machinery such as roller, loader, excavator or grader
• Traffic Control tickets
